Shop Hop 2011
I am a little late getting around to Shop Hop. We had a great time, one of the best parts of shop hop for me is that my daughters usually come and and work and it is such fun to share shop hop and spend the days together - five days of great fun. I hope all of the shop hoppers had a great time too!
We had the unique experience of hosting a couple of days of the shop hop during the Port Gamble Civil War Reenactment.
This was the view out our back windows...while we could see the armies lined up to march to battle our our front windows. I must admit it was the first shop hop that I have ever looked over to see a group of quilters gathered and discovered that it was not a quilt they were admiring but the construction of a hoop skirt.
Jerry invited all of the folks who came to put themselves on the map to indicate where they had traveled from. While most of the pins predictably centered around the greater Puget Sound/Kitsap Area, we were astonished at some of the places that were "off the map".
