Tsukineko Ink

We are very fortunate to have the master of Tsukineko Ink and fabric teach at the shop. Barb has perfected just about any technique around for use with these inks, pens, and fabrics. She can marble on fabric, use ink with shaving cream and aloe vera gel for special effects, use the ink and pens with stencils, and has developed techniques to use the inks on wool applique. And I am sure she has a whole other assortment of techniques I don't know about yet. Here are some of the samples from her most recent Ink Workshop - the students worked at coloring the panel of their choice.

This began as a black and cream panel from Andover fabrics - the panel is no longer being printed, but there were quite a few versions, so if you want one of your own, you might find one floating around somewhere in a shop or online.

These began as redwork panels from Timeless Treasures fabrics. These are still being printed and we  have a new Christmas one in the shop as well.
